The Bog Tee
The Bog Tee is a minimal-seam running tee. Its near-seamless construction means there's almost nothing to rub or chafe, and the few seams there are, we've externalised (turned to the outside) so they sit smooth against the skin. Cut from an ultra-fine, wood-based modal, made using Lenzing™ Micro Modal yarn, spun from beechwood, it's remarkably soft, breathable and temperature-regulating, finished with a printed neck label so there's no tag to itch. Knitted in the UK, sewn by us in Manchester.
Recovery Cape
Your post-run layer. The one you shrug on when you're back through the door on a Sunday, or heading straight to the pub for a well-earned pint. One of the rarest things we make: limited to just 30.
The Running Belt
A slim, super-lightweight running belt that sits bounce-free at the waist or crossbody. Two compartments, one for the largest iPhone (though the armour-plated case with a grip ring, card wallet and strap bolted on will have to come off first, sorry) and one for your keys, built to last with premium Italian hardware.
The rest of the project
Scroll sideways →Running gear, stripped right back.
Outnback is a running project from WAWWA. Running is free but the gear got complicated.
We wanted to do the opposite: simply constructed pieces, honest prices, nothing over-engineered. Made from as many naturally derived fabrics as possible without compromising on performance and made ethically in Manchester by a team paid the Real Living Wage.
Every piece is numbered, tested and iterated. This is V001.
The way out is the slog. Every mile you make, you know you've got to run it back. This is where the gear has to actually work: the Bog Tee, the Running Shorts, the Running Belt. Simple, durable construction, from as many natural fibres as possible.
The turnaround. The bit where every step brings you closer to home, where your head starts to clear. Unfortunately, we can't sell you this bit.
This is the bit where you stop moving and start to get cold again. We won’t bore you with the post-run shivers phenomenon, but we've got a class answer to it. The Recovery Cape, the Musette, the Running Socks live here. Pulled on over everything.
